Odisha CM Condemns JNU Violence; Seeks Swift Motion

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday condemned the assault on college students and academics on the Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNU) in New Delhi.

The Chief Minister, who expressed shock over the incident, stated violence has no house in democracy and such assaults on college students should be condemned unequivocally.

He additionally appealed the regulation enforcement companies to take swift motion to apprehend the culprits.

“Shocked to know in regards to the violent #JNUattack. Violence has no house in democracy and such assaults on college students should be condemned unequivocally. Attraction regulation enforcement companies to take swift motion to apprehend the culprits and need the injured college students a speedy restoration,” tweeted the Chief Minister.

A number of college students and academics had been injured after violence befell within the JNU on Sunday night.
